Hinged cardboard box, normal lid, 384 x 384 x 167 mm
Hinged carton 384 x 384 x 167 mm
Cardboard boxes are probably the most-used transport boxes in the world. Usually, they come as folding boxes to save space while not being needed; but folding boxes have a drawback: You need to tape the bottom lid before you can use them - which is tedious and a waste of time.
Hinged boxes, like this one made of single wall, corrugated cardboard, are ready for usage right after unfolding them - which is a lot easier and time-saving.
The normal lid of these cartons interlocks, so it stays closed while storing or archiving things. For dispatch, of course, it has to be sealed using adhesive tape or strapping, but their use is still easier and faster than that of normal cardboard boxes.
