Shipping cases: Why the round has to go into the square
Posters, certificates, maps, technical drawings: There are countless articles that cannot be transported in their original size, but also must not be folded or creased. The only alternative is to roll it up - and then pack it in a cardboard box, which only has to be of the required length.
Cartons with a square cross-section are better suited for this than tubes with a round cross-section: thanks to their folding lids, they are easier to close, stackable and easier to label on the straight surface. This makes it much easier to read scanner codes in particular. They are also cheaper to produce and therefore cheaper in price.
Dispatch sleeves are therefore the ideal solution when it comes to transporting rolled goods: inexpensive, stable and practical all round.
