The transport and storage of bottles has always been a problem - it is all too easy for glass bottles to break even with seemingly harmless items. To prevent this from happening, there are special boxes with compartments - the so-called "compartments" - which prevent the bottles from banging against each other and can even withstand quite a few knocks and blows.
The cardboard box for bottles can also be used for parcels, but the fragile contents should be sufficiently cushioned: silk and banner paper or bubble wrap are best suited for this purpose.
