Strapping machines: Packing parcels and pallets quickly If you have to ship a lot of parcels or pallets every day, you cannot do without secure strapping (colloquially known as straps by warehouse staff): Straps, usually made of lightweight but highly tear-resistant plastic, are placed around the packaged goods and secured either with staples or by welding the ends. Performed manually, the process is time-consuming and, in the case of heavy parcels, also very strenuous; thus impracticable for high shipping volumes.

Semi-automatic strapping machines
Semi-automatic strapping machines consist of a strapping table on which the package is placed. The strapping is pulled manually around the box and pushed into a guide at the other end - the machine does the rest: it pulls the strap taut, cuts it to the required length and seals the ends. Semi-automatic machines are best suited for smaller and medium-sized packages with still manageable quantities in shipping.
Fully automatic strapping machines
With fully automatic strapping machines, the package is simply pushed under a sheet. At the push of a button, the strap is completely wrapped around the box, cut and sealed - the package is ready for dispatch. For high shipping volumes or many very heavy or bulky cartons, these fully automatic machines are the most efficient solution.
Pallet strapping machines
Pallet strapping machines are the professionals for forwarding agencies and large warehouses: A guide rail is slid under the pallet, with its help the strap is manually placed around the pallet and goods, and then tensioned, cut and welded by the machine. Securing heavy Euro pallets takes only a few moments and saves the warehouse staff tedious and time-consuming manual work.
