Keep order in documents
Tidiness is half the battle - but in the office, you need all of it!
File folders are the last resort of all documents when they are ultimately archived. But before that, they go through a marathon of processing, and these tools help you get there.
Ideal for transporting sets of documents are envelope folders, or what's known as a "corner binder." Basically, a cover folder is a document sleeve, except that it is closed on all sides - like a book - and no pages can fall out during transport. They are usually equipped with an elastic band or other closure, which minimizes the risk of losing documents.
Fan folders help to minimize the loss of documents. They are similar in design to envelope folders, but have compartment dividers to pre-sort documents. They are popular with students because you can keep papers separated by subject, for example. However, they can also be used to store various contract documents.
For quick bundling of documents that do not require special protection, staplers are suitable. They allow to bundle punched documents and in turn can be filed in a folder. This makes it easy to bundle documents that belong together.
A quick-action binder offers somewhat more protection - this is essentially a binder strip with a cover. It prevents at least rough fingerprints or coffee stains!
Suspension files are standard in many offices: Here, suspension files are hung vertically in rails that are usually built into a drawer. Suspension files provide space for small to medium document sets, are easy to sort (you simply hang them up) and quick to handle. This makes them ideal for documents that need to be constantly at hand.
These are just a few ways to get a handle on and organize papers away from the classic file folder - you can find more in our store!
