Frequently asked questions
What is the maximum size of the contents?
The inner dimensions of 100 x 220 mm apply to flat items with no significant height. If your contents have real thickness, space gets tighter: the envelope has to curve around them, which reduces width and length. Rule of thumb: subtract the fill height plus 0.5 cm of clearance for inserting from both the width and the length.

Can I send the envelope as a book or goods shipment (Büchersendung/Warensendung)?
Yes, the holes for paper fasteners are already pre-punched – so you can close the envelope unsealed for book and goods shipments.
Does the adhesive closure hold in cold or heat?
Yes, the adhesive is aging- and temperature-resistant from -20 °C to +60 °C.
How accurate are the dimensions?
Production tolerances of up to 3 mm may occur.
How do I dispose of the envelope?
The paper and bubble wrap are easy to separate and dispose of separately.
