Frequently asked questions
How do I close the box?
The bottom is already glued at the factory and simply pops open when you set the box up. To close it, the lid usually has two adhesive strips with a tear strip: the outer one seals the box for shipping – no additional tape needed.
Can I reseal the box for a return?
Yes, the second, inner adhesive strip is intended for exactly that – here too, you don't need any additional tape.
What is the auto-bottom box especially suited for?
For high-volume shippers: it can be set up and closed extremely quickly, without any tools or aids.
What is the girth and what do I need it for?
The girth is the longest side plus twice the sum of the other two sides – parcel carriers use this value to determine the shipping rate class (e.g. parcel size S/M/L).
What do I do with heavier goods?
For goods over 20 kg, we recommend a double-wall box – depending on the goods and fill level, it holds 15 to 30 kg.
