The Euro pallet (also Euro pool pallet) is a standardised transport pallet made of wood. The size is uniformly fixed at 1200x800x144 mm. The Euro pallet is characterised by the fact that it is a four-way pallet. This means that it can be gripped by a pallet truck or forklift truck from all four sides. This drastically increases the flexibility of this pallet. Since all pallets have exactly the same size, they can also be exchanged at will. In many cases, the cumbersome reloading of goods can be completely eliminated. The seller simply receives the same number of pallets back from the buyer. The Euro pallet is the European standard. This means that the pan-European economy has agreed on Europool pallets. Loading these pallets correctly with cardboard boxes is therefore essential for success in the single European market.
