The large letter box in practice
A large letter box offers space inside for up to 95 sheets in A4 format. In order to meet the low priced shipping conditions, the packaging must not exceed the format 353x250x200 mm. The maximum permissible weight for large letter boxes is 500 g. This means that this packaging is only suitable for a few products that meet the necessary requirements in terms of both size and weight. The packaging of the large letter box is light and stable and can also be used for sensitive products such as CDs. Spare parts or papers can also be packaged well in the large letter box.

How to pack your goods safely in large letter cartons
Product shipping in cardboard boxes in particular, whether single or double wall, requires the addition of extra padding. It does not matter how thick the walls of the cardboard box are. Books or document shipments in particular can be packed very sturdily and compactly. The large letter box is closed in such a way that it is impossible for the contents to slip. At the same time, the sturdy cardboard box on the outside is quite sufficient to cushion light impacts or even falls of the large letter. At the same time, the low weight of no more than half a kilogram means that damage to the product is very unlikely.
Safe protection for small objects
What is true for books and thick stacks of documents is not always the case for smaller objects such as CDs or spare parts. As a general rule, if absolutely compact packaging is not possible, padding should be added. Due to the small format of the large letter box, however, a number of things must be taken into account when cushioning. The filling materials used must neither be too heavy nor take up too much space. Bubble wrap, for example, is ideal here. This can be used to wrap and cushion the object itself until it sits stably in the packaging. Alternatively, or as a supplement, Schrenzpapier can also be used. This is not only particularly ecological due to the absence of plastic, but can also be varied excellently depending on how much space you want to pad. A combination of different cushioning materials also proves to be a good choice time and again when shipping with large letter boxes.
Stamping and labelling large letter boxes correctly
Large letter boxes can be sent within Germany for as little as 1.55 € per letter. The format of this packaging solution corresponds exactly to DHL's belt size, which allows you to pay particularly low priced postage. The only thing you should pay more attention to is the weight. The large letter must not weigh more than 500 g in order to benefit from the low-cost conditions. In that case, however, large letters are particularly useful in practice. You don't have to post them separately at the nearest post office, but can simply drop the narrow letter into the nearest letterbox. The only thing you need to do is to stamp and label it properly. A return address is indispensable to make sure that the item is returned to you in case of doubt. You can write your own address legibly on the outside of the letter as the sender's address. The recipient's address should also be legible and, above all, conspicuous on the cardboard box. This will ensure that your large letter box and its contents arrive at their destination without any problems.
