Bubble Mailers
Sending small products such as jewellery or CDs in a normal envelope is not a good idea. Unless the envelope is made of particularly robust paper and lined with protective bubble wrap.
Flexible and secure shipping with bubble envelopes
Bubble envelopes are classic shipping bags made of sturdy paper. Inside, however, there is a layer of bubble wrap that not only acts as a protective layer, but also reliably protects goods inside from slipping. It is a versatile shipping solution that is used time and again, especially for sensitive small goods. Due to the great variability in terms of format, small to medium-weight products can be optimally packed and shipped with bubble envelopes. The bubble envelope is an excellent option not only because of the very low postage costs. The padded shipping bag offers a very high level of security and thus provides reliable protection against external influences.
Bubble wrap as standard in the mail order business
Since the invention of bubble wrap in 1957, it has become indispensable in the mail order business. Since then, it has been used time and again as a filling and packaging material. The robust film can be found in practically every shipping company. While it has to be attached separately when shipping with other packaging solutions, the helpful film is already included with the bubble envelopes.
Variety in shipping
A wide variety of products can be shipped in padded envelopes. Especially for small and medium-sized products, an excellent packaging solution is offered, which at the same time provides protection against external damage. Whether the goods are light or somewhat heavy, the bubble envelope offers the ideal shipping solution for smaller products. The small nubs on the film provide sufficient cushioning on the shipping route and consistently absorb any impact, even with somewhat rougher handling. At the same time, the strong kraft paper on the outside is durable and hard-wearing, especially if sufficient quality is taken into account when purchasing the packaging. Use bubble envelopes as a secure shipping bag for books, CDs and DVDs, electronic items and cables, textiles, cosmetics or jewellery. The goods will reach the customer safely and undamaged. Even several products of small size can be sent together in bubble envelopes.

Correctly closing bubble envelopes
Many bubble envelopes are equipped with the well-known TRIFIX closure system. This means that there is not just one, but in fact three different closure options. Each of them offers individual advantages and disadvantages and can be freely selected according to the respective shipping conditions. Please check the individual product description for details about the available closures.
Possibility 1: The pressure-sensitive adhesive closure
Each of our bubble envelopes is equipped with a pressure-sensitive adhesive seal. This is equipped with a practical peel-off strip when the shipping solution is received. When the peel-off strip is pulled off during the packaging process, a functional adhesive edge is created at this point. This allows the packaging and its contents to be securely closed. The only thing to bear in mind with this option is that the adhesive strength is highest with new bubble envelopes. With age, the function can weaken. In addition, the ambient temperature has an influence on the adhesive. This is only resistant between -20° and 60°C.
Option 2: The flat head clip closure
Bubble envelopes also have practical holes on the side of the opening. These are specifically designed for attaching so-called flat head staples. Flat head staples (also: sample staple, sample bag staple or spread staple) are handy metal staples designed to close mailing bags. They make the envelope reusable and allow non-destructive opening and closing without the use of glue. Such sample clips are used very often, especially for goods or book shipments that need to be checked during shipping.
Option 3: The adhesive closure
With the adhesion closure, a resealable option is created despite the use of glue. Instead of the flat head clips, the adhesive closure is used here again. However, this is not firmly glued to the kraft paper, but to the transparent film on the back of the bag. This allows the bag to be opened and resealed, which may be necessary more often when shipping, especially if the parcels are sent abroad. Each of these options allows the bag to be securely closed.
Postage and label bubble envelopes correctly
There are various postage options available for sending bubble envelopes. The postage costs depend on the weight of the item. The lowest priced option is the classic book shipment starting at 1.20 euros. Merchandise shipments are available from 1,30€. Up to a weight of 500g, a bubble envelope can also be sent as a large letter, resulting in postage costs of 1.45€. If the weight is up to 1000g, it can be sent as a Maxibrief, which incurs postage costs of 2.60€. If the weight exceeds this value or if a particularly bulky format is used, the envelope can no longer be sent as a letter.
Labelling your bubble envelope
To ensure that your bubble envelope can be correctly deciphered by both the sorting machines in the mail centre and the postman, there are a few things you should bear in mind: Only label your mailing bag on one side. Add the sender's address at the top left. The recipient's address can be written large and legibly at the bottom right. Leave space for the stamp in the upper right-hand corner. You should also refrain from adding any additional labelling or stickers on the outside so as not to cause confusion here. If you are sending your parcel as a book or merchandise consignment, this should be added in writing above the address as a short note "Büchersendung" or "Warensendung".
