Shipping with film made mailers offers many advantages
If you compare the use of film mailing bags with that of cardboard boxes, you will find many advantages on the side of the plastic mailer. In a direct comparison, the mailing bags are the significantly lower priced alternative. This is often decisive, especially for smaller retailers. Folding cardboard boxes reach you in the unfolded state. What may make sense for storage, however, costs a lot of time in the shipping process. Film pouches, on the other hand, save time because you don't have to unfold anything or tape anything unnecessarily. This work is done for you by the adhesive seal. Plastic film pouches can be stored in your warehouse in a much more space-saving way and are less sensitive to external influences such as moisture. This factor also pays off in shipping. Whereas cardboard boxes cannot always withstand excessive moisture and no longer offer secure protection, foil boxes provide optimum protection against any kind of wetness. Foil cartons can be easily adapted to different sizes. All you have to do is fold the envelope over at the right place and it is ready for shipping even very small products. Cardboard boxes always require the sometimes excessive use of filling materials. When shipping with film pockets, this is completely unnecessary. You can adjust the size of your mailing bag individually by gluing it shut. This not only saves you time in the packaging process, but also money on materials and postage costs.
Foil bags as outer packaging
Is a film pouch not enough as packaging for your product, but you still don't want to do without the many advantages? In that case, it is advisable to use film pouches as outer packaging for a cardboard box or carton. What may sound awkward at first, pays off quickly in practice. Attaching a film pocket as additional outer packaging only slightly slows down the packaging process. The goods appear better packaged, which gives you better ratings and a great reputation. How to pack your goods securely in foil pouches
There are two different ways you can use foil pouches in shipping, or you can even combine them. You can send light goods such as textiles directly in the mailing bag and thus use it as an alternative to the cardboard box. You can also send a parcel in a film bag and use this as a supplement to the cardboard box. In the clothing industry in particular, both options are often combined and inside the film pouch you will find shoe boxes as well as unpackaged textile products such as trousers or jackets. Securities and documents are also frequently sent in foil pouches. The great advantage here is that the film is absolutely waterproof. High-quality mailing bags are also extremely tear-resistant and thus even more robust than many shipping cartons. They are hardly ever damaged in transit and can withstand any transport.
Foil pouches are securely closed thanks to the fixed closure
Our Coex mailing bags are all equipped with an adhesive closure, making them easy to seal in the packaging process. These are adhesive closure pouches that cannot be opened several times, but can only be used once. Film pouches, which are optionally also to be used for return shipment, prevent damage by having a perforated seam here to indicate the opening. Another adhesive closure enables the end customer to reseal the bag and thus to use the bag for return shipment without any problems.
