The maximum weight for Hermes parcels is up to 31.5 kg if you book a collection. When dropping off at a ParcelShop, the limit is 25 kg. What matters is that the actual weight matches the selected shipping option – otherwise, additional costs may apply. Best practice: weigh in advance and classify correctly.
Yes – but it depends on the shipping option:

A Hermes Päckchen is only insured up to €50.

A Hermes Paket, on the other hand, is insured up to €500.
Liability only applies if the shipment is properly packed. This means: sturdy material, no empty space inside the box, and sufficient protection for the goods.
If you are shipping high-value products, we strongly recommend sending them as a Paket.
Bulky goods are shipments that are not cuboid in shape or have protruding parts. For such shipments, a surcharge of €19.95 applies. Exceptions are parcel classes XL and XXL, as well as parcel rolls with a maximum length of 100 cm and a diameter of up to 20 cm.
Both options are possible. You can drop off your parcel at one of the more than 16,000 Hermes ParcelShops or have it conveniently collected from your home. When collected, your parcel is scanned right at your door, a clean and secure solution.
You can drop off your parcel at one of the more than 16,000 Hermes ParcelShops in Germany. Alternatively, you can schedule a home collection. Collection is available for parcels in classes S to XXL and can be booked online.
With the mobile shipping label, you can create your label online and receive a QR code. Show this code at the ParcelShop, where the label will be printed for you. This way, no printer is required.
Shipments redirected to a Hermes ParcelShop are stored there for 14 calendar days for you to collect. The storage period begins on the day the shipment is delivered to the ParcelShop. If you are unable to collect your parcel within this time, it will be returned to the sender.
