Depending on whether you are wrapping a thin electrical cable or temporarily sealing a hose, a narrower or wider tape may be beneficial. Common widths range from 10 mm to 25 mm and the most common is the 10 m x 15 mm tape in blue or green-yellow. In case of mechanical impact, it is advisable to choose a correspondingly thicker tape.
