In short, DPD Parcel L applies up to a parcel size of 90 cm. Parcel size is calculated as longest side plus shortest side. Example, 60 cm + 30 cm = 90 cm. Drop off at a Parcel Shop is allowed up to 20 kg. Pickup is possible up to 31.5 kg. Shipment tracking is included, liability up to €520, valid for domestic and international shipping.

Choosing boxes for DPD Parcel L

Select boxes that reliably meet the sum rule and still allow padding clearance. For medium loads, single wall B flute is sufficient. For higher edge loads choose double wall BC.

  • 500 × 300 × 300 mm, parcel size 500 + 300 = 800 mm, universal for mixed goods.
  • 500 × 400 × 300 mm, parcel size 500 + 300 = 800 mm, double wall recommended for extra stability.
  • 570 × 430 × 285 mm, parcel size 570 + 285 = 855 mm, for bulky contents with good padding clearance.

Wrap-around boxes and auto bottom boxes are possible as long as longest + shortest side does not exceed 90 cm.

How to pack DPD Parcel L correctly

  1. Measure the product, calculate longest + shortest box side, target ≤ 90 cm.
  2. Plan around 2 cm padding clearance per side. Fill voids with paper cushioning. Distribute weight evenly, heavy items at the bottom.
  3. Seal over the seam, for heavier loads add a cross seal. Place the label clearly on the largest surface.
