Keep your office or warehouse more organized now with our file folders.
If there's one thing that belongs in every fully equipped office, it's file folders. Even an office that has long since switched to electronic documentation will usually print contracts and documents in written form for archiving, and these must be properly organized. Even in a private context, file folders have long since found fans, as they not only look simple and appealing from the outside, but are also functional, providing structure when sorting a wide variety of papers. Folders and ring binders should therefore be present neither in the professional sector nor in the private study.
The evolution of file folders
File folders were invented as early as the 19th century and can be traced back to Friedrich Soennecken from Bonn, who also invented the hole punch. However, the shape of the hole punch was to change significantly over the years. It was not until Louis Leitz invented the folder a few years later that it took on its current form. Since then, the file folder has been used as a mechanical filing system for the temporary or long-term storage of standard perforated or foiled documents. Since then, about 500 simple DIN A4 papers fit into a standard file folder. However, folders are also available for other media, so that CDs or other electronic data carriers can also be stored with them. Corrugated cardboard is ideal for long-term archiving: Our folding boxes are stable, dust-proof and easy to stack.

All of our folders are tried and tested for typical office use and are perfect for archiving files and documents, for use at school or in the study. The files can either be suitably perforated for this purpose or placed in brochure pockets, which provides extra protection.
The great advantage of an appropriate filing system
The great advantage of uniform filing systems lies not only in the appearance. Of course, it makes a good impression when the office is equipped with color-matching folders of uniform size. But the consistent format also ensures easier and time-saving handling. Removing or adding papers is much faster. The folders also allow individual pages to be removed from the papers as a whole without having to remove every piece of paper or loosen the file binding. Originally loose sheets can be collected here. A subsequent addition or reduction of the number of papers is possible at any time, depending on the capacity of the folder, and can be carried out freely. Depending on the choice of the respective filing system, papers can be filed either unordered, chronologically, by subject area or alphabetically. In order to always have the right overview, there are labeling windows or folder labels on the spine of the folder. This allows notes to be made on the contents of the folder, which can speed up the subsequent retrieval of certain papers. The spine of a classic folder is designed in such a way that it can be opened up to 180° when in use and can therefore be laid flat on a level surface.
